Pitch calibration

Turn a phone clip of a small‑sided or partial pitch into real metres.

1 · Freeze-frame · tap the pitch points

Load a still from your clip (a frame where pitch markings are visible), then tap a point and pick which pitch feature it is. Mark at least 4 — the visible corners, the halfway line ends, the centre spot, or a penalty box corner. More points = better accuracy.

Load a freeze-frame from your clip to begin (or use the demo frame).

    2 · Pitch size & calibrate

Pick the real pitch size so distances come out right on small-sided pitches.

3 · The green outline is your calibrated pitch projected back onto the frame — it should sit on the real lines. If it's off, add or nudge points and recalibrate.

Once saved, the analysis for that clip lifts to real metres — powering the calibrated 2D board, distances, offside line and 3D. Uncalibrated clips still get tracking, events and the coaching views, just not true metres.
